|

Amex has called me back and has now said that my redemption was never processed as all tickets are sold out. I said all tickets cannot be sold out as the tickets have not even gone on sale to the general public yet. The manager then said, "all tickets for redemptions are sold out". I then said when was someone going to call me, no reply. I then said all tickets for redemptions were sold out 1 minute after the sales opened. He then said, "well to tell you the truth, we had problems with our computer and your order did not go through". So, I tried to find out which section my seats were in and I find out that I dont even have tickets reserved.
Now that is great customer service! Currently waiting to see what they are going to do for me.
Any opinions as to what should be done. At least give my points back?
I have been an Amex customer for 15 years and in good standing. |

I think you should ask this to be escalated to a customer service manager. Some compensation is in order.
They will be holding tickets for internal use, so if you escalate to a high enough level you might be able to get a hold of these. _________________ CanadaLoyalty.com Website http://www.canadaloyalty.com - the largest listing of loyalty, reward, incentive, and membership programs for Canadians |
