|
|
We are working on a method of camparison between programs so that we can remove the subjectivity from our ranking system.
Since most programs are points based, we are trying to concentrate on a few key metrics.
Points/dollar spent
This is fairly easy to calculate, as every program puplishes this information. What complicates this measure is that many programs rely heavily on bonus points offerings, which we don't have a way of including in the metric.
Dollar value/point
This one is a little harder to quantify, as many programs do not have a cash out options. What we do is identify the reward that is closest to cash (e.g. gift card), and use the cash value of this as the benchmark for this calculation.
What other information do you suggest for establishing a comparison framework? |
